COMMUNITY
GUIDELINES
Last updated: July 26, 2026
The Link exists to help men build real friendships through shared activities. These guidelines exist to keep the community safe, respectful, and focused on that mission.

The golden rule: Show up, be real, respect the bros. Everything else follows from that.

The Point

The Link exists for one reason: to help guys stop scrolling and start showing up. Real friendships, real activities, in real life. These guidelines keep it that way. Break them and you can lose your account — we'd rather have a smaller community that's actually good than a big one that isn't.

1. Show Up Like a Real One

If you RSVP, do your best to actually go. If plans change, let the group know. The whole thing works on trust — guys showing up for each other is the point. Flaking constantly or ghosting groups you joined breaks that.

2. Be Who You Say You Are

Use your real name and a real photo. No impersonating other people, no fake profiles, no catfishing. This is about genuine connection, and that starts with being honest about who you are.

3. Respect Other Guys

Treat people the way you'd want to be treated. No harassment, no threats, no bullying, no demeaning anyone. Disagreement is fine — being cruel is not. Everyone here is trying to make a connection, which takes some guts. Don't make that harder for anyone.

4. This Isn't a Dating App

The Link is about friendship, not romance or hookups. Don't use it to hit on people or for any kind of sexual solicitation. That's not what this space is for, and it makes it worse for everyone who's here for the actual purpose.

5. No Hate, No Harm

Zero tolerance for hate speech, discrimination, or content that targets people based on race, religion, sexuality, disability, or anything else. No content promoting violence, self-harm, or anything illegal. This is an easy way to get permanently banned.

6. Keep It Clean

No sexually explicit content, no graphic material, no spam, and no using the Platform to promote your business, sell things, or push a following. If you're here to farm followers or customers, this isn't your place.

7. Meet Up Smart

When you meet people in person: pick public spots, especially the first few times. Tell a friend where you're going. Trust your gut — if something feels off, leave. The Link doesn't vet or background-check members, so your safety is in your hands. Look out for yourself and look out for the other guys too.

8. Protect Privacy

What's shared in a group or chat stays there. Don't screenshot and spread other guys' private messages or personal details. Don't share anyone's contact info or whereabouts without their okay.

9. Report What's Wrong

If someone's breaking these rules or making the space unsafe, report them — you can report members, activities, and individual messages right in the app, and you can block anyone you don't want to hear from. Reports go to our team and help keep the community healthy. If you see something serious, say something.

What Happens If You Break the Rules

Depending on what happened, we may remove content, issue a warning, suspend your account, or permanently ban you. Serious violations — especially anything involving safety, hate, or harm to others — mean an immediate, permanent ban. We make these calls to protect the community.
